My Opinion - I have been very disappointed in the food the last couple of times I have gone. At these prices, it should be consistently great!

Louie's Backyard |

Louie's is a place everybody needs to experience. A big contributor to all that is South Padre, Louie's has the fireworks display on holidays and Fridays in the summer. It has a huge outside dining area on the bayside where the sunsets with a seafood buffet and also an enclosed upstairs sports bar with great food - love the fajitas. This establishment can hold up to 500 people and is a favorite of the island.
Comments - I like the Sports Bar. The outside dining has aroma of left over stale beer - so that does not appeal to me, but my nose is sensitive. Definitely worth a visit. Plus, it has a gravity park that is fun for all.
